I was wondering if you could tell me the best way to drill a hole into a 5 gallon water bottle. I want to dispense wine I make. I will be getting the tap I need then purchase to bit that is right for the hole size needed.
The glass in these bottles is a bit thick and would like your recommendation on the correct bit for this job.
    Thank you,
    - fred

The quad glass bits are the best for doing this. Keep the RPM down max 900, and use water to spray as you drill. Do not push hard, keep steady pressure do no turn the bit red on the end.
